  Don't let that little face fool you, this little sweetie pie was in HEAVEN when we threw her a kitten party this year. I still cant believe she is THREE! Are ya 'kitten' me?!     If you know me, you know that I love to plan parties and go a bit overboard. Ok a lot overboard. (Remember this party? Or this one?) So when I was trying to figure out what to do for Miss Posey's party this year, I knew it had to be good. I love puns and she loves animals of all sorts so having a "She's turning three, are ya KITTEN me?" party seemed like a match made in heaven, but ONLY if I could find someone with kittens and would allow them to come visit a bunch of crazy kids at a party. (Am I crazy, or am I crazy?) Luckily everything went peachy and no kitties were harmed in the making of this party. Do Your Own Kitten Party! I cant believe my little Posey girl has turned one this summer. We had a lovely party in Utah with Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nanny's, Papa's, Grandma's and Grandpa's, the whole clan {except Daddy who was working hard in Chicago...} and delicious chocolate cake, of course. We sure missed Gavin, but what a blessing technology is and that he was able to be there with us.         Dear Posey, What a blessing you are in our life. I am so thankful for your sweet spirit and spunky personality. The way you back into my lap to cuddle, melts my heart. The way you squeeze me in your tight hugs and sloppy kisses, turns me into a puddle (literally!) Miss Monroe {for safety reasons, Monroe will now be referred to as Posey} was due on July 31, 2014 but each doctors appointment prior to her arrival suggested that she would not be arriving in time. Unless you've been there yourself, I cant tell you how awful it is to hear that when you are 9 plus months pregnant. Many tears were shed in desperation to be done and meet my little girl. My sweet mom and wonderful sister had driven out to Iowa after quite an adventure {that's a story for another day!} and were such troopers! Putting up with me and my hormones were not easy I tell you. {Sorry guys!} They entertained my energetic two year old, they cleaned my house, they made dinners and did their best to keep my mind off of how uncomfortable I was. Gavin was great too. So sweet and supportive even after working long hours at TWO pharmacies. Crazy boy. Well the due date came and went with no progression.
