Disneyland has always been my first love and nothing describes how magical it was taking my babies there and seeing it through their eyes for the first time. Absolute magic! Although we haven't been to Disneyland in awhile, it's never too far from my heart. Last time we went was two years ago during their Halloween festivities. Halloween is my all time FAVORITE holiday. Hands down. Ever since I was a wee little one, we always made a big deal out of dressing up, playing games, decorations and trick-or-treating. In fact, if you have been following me for awhile you know just how into the festivities I can be. For twenty plus years, my family has a traditional party where we offer awards for best costumes, eat buckets of chili and chicken noodle soup, make homemade root beer and watch scary movies all night long. Dear Hendricks, Oh sweet boy of mine, how I love you! This weekend we had your baby blessing and although you are older  than most, it was worth the wait to have you surrounded by all the people who love you. So many people love you Hendricks. You are a bright light in all of our lives and I personally dont know how I've ever lived without you. You are now 5 months old and are starting to get spunkier and spunkier. Hey-o fellow Happy Thinkers! Today I've got a cute little Adventurer Sign DIY project for any room in your darling house and it's pretty dang easy as well. DISCLAIMER: I kinda did my project the hard way because I was lazy. Ironic right?!  So be sure to read my suggestions of what I'd do differently in the red.   Items You Will Need for this Adventurer Sign: Quote printed on engineer paper from Staples (Or printed on freezer paper at home!) A rod and rope (to hang your sign) Fabric paint and stipple brush Canvas material Pom Pom ribbon or something you'd like as a border Step 1 So to begin, find whatever quote or phrase you'd like on your sign. I printed this on engineer paper at Staples to get it the size that I wanted hanging over the crib in Hendricks room.
