How to Host a Pie Fight Party

Image
Who is ready to step up their Pie Day game?! But really... Why limit the fun to just one day in March? For my wonderful Dad's birthday this year, we threw him a surprise party... but not just any surprise party, we decided to show our love for him by a good old fashioned PIE FIGHT!  (He's such a good sport!) If you know us, we love getting messy and this was a perfect way to laugh and enjoy one another as well as celebrate someone we love dearly.  We had a blast and now I want to share the process with you so you can have a shindig of your own!  How to Host a PIE FIGHT Party! Supplies:  A ton, and I mean A TON of pudding mix Milk Whipped Cream Sprinkles Maraschino Cherries Pie tins Ponchos (optional) Warm washcloths Water hose Table cloths Tips and Tricks The warmer the weather, the better. Because OBVIOUSLY you should do this outside. We got super lucky as you never know if it's going to rain, snow or be sunny in Utah this time...

A JORD Watch for My Jolly Sailor Bold

Image
To My Love, Part of me can't believe we've been together almost ten years. In some ways it feels like yesterday, but at the same time it feels we've been together forever. Time flies when we're having fun, right? And we sure have a lot of fun together.    After whirlwind of cotton candy, a dorm room full of pink balloons and a horse ride through trees that seem straight out of Whoville, I knew you were the one for me. As we celebrate our life together I want you to know just how loved you are. When my seas are stormy, you calm the waves. When life is the bubbles, you're there to shellabrate. ;) We've traveled to depths unknown, but we've done it by each others side. You are my anchor and I love you more than all the dragons, unicorns, mermaids and fairies combined. You are my fairy tale. You are my happily ever after. Eternally Yours, Lauren       I have to say that it can be a little tricky to get gifts for Gavin, but I think I nailed it on the h...

Bach Bash BASH! {A Bachelor Viewing Party}

Image
Welcome to the most epic Bachelor Viewing Party EVVVER!  My cute friend, Brissa and I wanted this girls night to be a fun time to mingle and enjoy trashy television... and we were not let down! I think we can all agree that the actually finale was a absolute snooze fest, but the party itself was a total blast!  We didn't get to taking photos until later and were missing some of our friends, so next time we'll be sure to get you ALL in there! ;) Thank you all so much to all you lovely ladies for joining us for our#BachBashBash (Not to be confused with Bach the composer. Nothing against him. Pronounced "batch" as in BACHelor. Got it? Good. Phew. Stupid english) We had sugar cookies, TONS of soda, delicious home made treats, treats from our favorite restaurants, Make America Corrine again skittles. 😆  Pretty much, we all gained a pound or two. We had girls show up by themselves (POWERHOUSE women!) and ladies show up with their girl squad, but we all left as a...

(Or an oversized avocado) Friend, you know I got you covered!  You never know when you'll need one and it's a lot less hassle than a real dragon egg, and a lot less messy than having a newborn dragon running around setting your couch on fire.  Trust me...
